EME Consulting is an active consulting firm providing services in Civil, Architectural and Mechanical Engineering from the initial investigation stages, through feasibility studies, outline planning, production of detailed designs, preparation of contract documents, and evaluation of tenders to supervision of construction in property sector through public private partnerships and privately funded initiatives.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
* Preparation and presentation of strategies and solutions to groups of clients or prospects
* Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region
* Travelling to visit potential clients
* Providing routine, accurate and meaningful market information, forecasting and product planning to management.
* Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
* Managing and interpreting customer requirements
* Negotiating tender and contract terms
* Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
* Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
* Identify and communicate resources needed to meet sales objectives
Qualifications
* A strong understanding of industrial business practices and effective sales techniques
* Team work and excellent problem solving
* Sound judgment and good business sense
* A solid technical background
* Candidate must possess a minimum of three years’ work experience
* HND/Degree in a relevant engineering/science discipline
* Excellent attention to details
* Existing knowledge of electrical, controls, automation and/or mechanical systems for industrial and infrastructure applications would be an advantage
* Strong organizational and planning skills, with capability to manage own workload
