We (1bank4all) are looking for IT interns from Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, UK and Zimbabwe who possess the following qualities:
• A degree in Information Technology and at least two years’ work experience;
• Experienced in using Drupal 8 Theme;
• Understanding of IT security;
• Excellent analytical and communication skills;
• Fluency in speaking, writing and reading English;
• Ability to work with external service providers;
• Possession of troubleshooting skills;
• Knowledge of: at least one Linux Distro; Routing; Firewalls; port forwarding internally and externally; rule sets; and Virtual machines, possibly KVM and Proxmox.
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
• IT Service Management, i.e. ITIL as well as Identity and Access Management;
• An understanding of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL;
• A sound understanding of Project Management i.e. PMI, Prince2, Hermes, ISO, etc.;
• Knowledge of following applications: Epesi, MediaWiki, Cyclos, Jira, Bluemind, Postfix, ERP, OpenPro;
• Experience using HTML, PHP, SQL, Bash, Java, JavaScript.
