Job title: Junior Compliance Officer
Job Description:
• Review, revises and initiates policies and procedures for the general operation and to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
• Collaborates & advise other departments (e.g., Finance, QHSE & Government Relations) to ensure compliance to applicable statutory laws internal policies & regulatory requirements
• Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the CCM informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts
• Assist in identifying and manage its risk exposure by ensuring that the systems and controls which exist are effective and relevant in order to protect the firm from both internal and external risk factors
• Report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance highlight or escalate areas of concern
Job Specification:
Educational Qualifications:
A university degree in law is preferred.
Professional certification is an added advantage
Experience: 1-3years
Location: Lagos state
