Letshego MFB is recruiting to fill the position of Relationship Officers whose primary role would be to sell our AGRICULTURAL LENDING PRODUCTS.

Job summary:
The incumbent is responsible for marketing all the institutions’ agricultural lending products and services, targeting of clients, business analysis, decision making, disbursement of loans, collection of repayments, monitoring and recovery of the target group assigned to him/her with a specific focus on lending to individuals and micro customers while following all the institution’s standards, policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Experience Required of Job Holder:
1. A minimum of a first degree in agricultural extension or related discipline.
2. 3 – 5 years’ prior experience in profiling clients for an agricultural loan
3. Knowledge of products development
4. Excellent verbal communication skills in at least one local language in addition to English. Able to build relationships based on trust.
5. Good selling and negotiation skills.
6. Work experience in Microfinance and/or micro lending is necessary.
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, especially MS Excel.
8. Strong customer experience focus.
9. Sound business sense, entrepreneurial understanding.
Thinking Requirements and Working Complexity:
1. Ability to meet targets - Highly motivated self-starter who can operate well with minimal supervision.
2. Ability to identify risks in customer’s businesses and proactively work on mitigating the risks.
3. Analytical thinking and attention to detail coupled with the ability to decide it a certain customer is worth pursuing or not.
